First mix with room treatment

This is a local hardcoreish band from around here. It is a WAV file but it is only a 30 second clip.

like the bass is not really doing it's bass thing and gits are under gained.

bass needs to be bassier. It has a nice growl to it though.

what did you use for bass?

I am not sure what type of bass it was but I know it was a 4 string in Drop D tuning. I ran it through an amp sim and then slammed it with compression and a little EQ.

It is not mastered. What are you listening to this on? Kick is a good level here on my BX8As. I agree on the low end issue though.

Beginning of the song sounds very REFUSED-like.

I like the drums tone, the bass sounds good too but the grs/bass/drums do not work together. I'd fix guitars first.
