First mix

Hi guys, I'm teaching myself to mix/record and here's a song i recorded to work on, but i stumbled across to a dead end and i need some tips from others.
This is probably horrible, but we all started somewhere, eh? Thanks for any input!

It sounds like an old-school lo-fi death metal recording. It's not particularly my style at all but if that's what you were going for then you succeeded. The guitars sound like they could be gated better and the drums are very roomy/verby and could be brought up in volume just a bit. The vocals also sound like they were recorded in a tile bathroom. What was your setup/recording chain and what kind of sound were you going for? This may help with some pointers.
