First Non-Metal Recordings

[MetalWorks]

I am working on my first Non-Metal Project and am enjoying it alot.

These are the first 2 mixes after tracking vocals last night.

Track 1 is direct Martin Accoustic and a XXX Clean channel for lead.

Track 2 is actually a 5150 fed by a Fender California Strat.

Kinda has a sleezy 311/Cake/Rage Against the Machine tone.

Kick sounds a bit loud. Gats sound cool on the second track. I think a fatter snare might be cool too on the second track. These are just my personal preferences for this type of music though. Sounds good though.
