nothing special....LTD B55 5 String Bass - hartke 300 watt head - hartke slant cab - Beta 32 (dust cap) - Sm 81 (Horn) - Bit of Compression - Ampeg svx - Blend both mics.

if you mic´ed real bass amp/cab, why did you use ampeg svx¿

Very good!!!!only thing that doesnt fit is that the drums doesnt sound like real one. Did you program the drums? or did you use drumagog,aptrigga....

I would use a not so clicky kick and a little higher snare.
And more dynamics in the toms

yea I gotta work on my sample blend with drumagog and Real drums. Applying the ampeg svx to the bass tracks makes em sound soooo much better. I heard an interview from one engineer who even puts it on his mic'ed guitar track to make them fuller haha

mmm, you record real amp/cab mic´ed and then, that track is sent to ampeg svx? and, in ampeg svx you only use mic simulation or full preset (amp,cab...)???

Once sent to the plugin, I used the entire svx plugin chain. SVT-4 Pro for the head with the SVT-410H as the cab. Vintage Dynamic 20 as the mic (in the program that is haha).
