First time screams

Only did one verse on the song so far but, I feel like I'm doing something wrong. If anybody can offer me any tips on getting a better scream that would be great. I have the lyrics already written out so if anybody else wants to give it a try, let me know.

For one, the mix needs more bass. I can't hear any bass guitar at all.

About the vocals:

My checklist for vox is: Compressor, Desser, reverb

Also for those deep deep screams that you're using, I'd double track and maybe even layer for effect. It also seem like you are running out of air. Try taking it one line or even one word at a time and editing together. Crossfade adn add a touch of reverb and you have some epic sounding screams.

The thing that jumps out at me is the vocals sound pitched down.

Double tracking vocals helped a lot. I cant really make em sit well though. Seems like i got a long way to go.

Vocals aren't pitched down, that's just how I sound I guess lol.
Never been a screamer before so I'm not even sure if I'm doing it correctly but I'm just trying to get through with it.
