THE UNIVERSITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO INVITE APPLICATIONS

1 OBJECTIVE/S
The objective of this position is to provide administrative assistance to the
Regional Connectivity Project Co-ordinator and Western Support Officer
2 DUTIES
The appointee will undertake the following duties:
• Provide general administration support to the Project Co-ordinator and
Western Support Officer including;
• Organising travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and
visitors;
• Filing and archiving systems;
• Photocopying and printing;
• Ordering of stationery, books and other items;
• Organise meetings, functions and events which relate to Regional Connectivity
Project;
• Perform general Word processing functions;
• Maintain relevant sections of the Regional Connectivity Project web page;
• Other duties as directed by the Project Co-ordinator.
3 DEGREE OF RESPONSIBILITY
The incumbent will work under the general direction of the Project Co-ordinator,
with key responsibility for providing Project administrative support.
4 SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
• Completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience or a combination of
relevant experience and education/training.
• Well developed word processing, keyboarding (speed and accuracy) and
computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with a genuine commitment to quality
service.
• Experience in organising meetings and functions.
• Web experience(desirable)



Hmm.. the only Criteria I don't satisfy is the meeting organising... this could be a problem..
