anyone got some experience with either of these?
the focal twins are supposed to be really great, i wonder if these lower end models live up to their name?
the thing is, i'm growing increasingly dissatisfied with my yamaha hs80m. there's not enough transient detail, the lower midrange is hard to make out for some reason, and overall the highs get fatigueing after long mixing sessions.....i guess i'm in for a upgrade sometime next year, and i'm currently checking my options.
i've heard great things about the adam a7 + sub 8 combo....genelec 1031's are another affordable solution, but i have no opportunity to check them out....they're only in my interest list as sneap's using them
