Focusrite Octopre LE

Hi!! I need to know if this preamp is OK, because I need 8 more inputs to record some drums and I'm on a budget. It's needed to be ADAT to link it to the Digi 003.

Have you ever had any experience with this one? Similar one? Focusrite?

I use the same chain; Octopre LE going into a 003 rack unit. i find them to be great pre's, quite a bit better than the Digi ones. I find the Digi ones to be a bit harsh. Just my opinion though.

Lasse said many times that he liked the octopre LE more than his RME preamps and that it was a great unit for the price.
