Hi,
I listen to alot of folk metal bands like ensiferum, eluveitie, finntroll and Falconer. I was wondering if there are any bands like falconer that have folk metal influences and still have clean vocals all the time?

Thanks,
Tom

The most Falconer-like ones I can think of would be Skiltron, Lothlöryen, Elvenking, Excelsis, Tengwar, and Doomsword.

most of the clean vocal Folk Metal is more like Rock with an ethnic lead instrument, rather than 'Black Metal/Death Metal/Power Metal with something folky about it'

Heidevolk
Svarga (the one from Russia)
Chur
Hantaoma
Odroerir
Raventhrone
Grimm (the one from Holland)
Balkandji
Týr
Vintersorg
Korpiklaani
Tin' Sontsya
Hel (the one from Germany)
Isengard
Glittertind
Teräsbetoni
Metsatöll
Orpheus
Crom
Ha Lela
Helangår
Nasledie Vagantov
Ivan-Tzarevich
Excelsis

if you like female vocals:
Kalevala (the one from Russia)
Brezno
Helengard
Woodscream

if you don't like the German Industrial Rock style of Folk Metal, just skip this whole lot:
Schandmaul
Ignis Fatuu
In Extremo
Die Apokalyptischen Reiter
Ingrimm
Volkstrott
Ragnaröek
Remember Twilight
Schattentantz
Morgenstern
Subway to Sally

(There might be some other vocals in there, but I think these guys are all predominantly or entirely clean vocal)

I'm not sure about "all the time" (actually, Seditious did an excellent job of naming all the bands I would probably know, and several more I might add), but I think you might like Baranduin:

almighty TYR! Funny thing is, I'm not a wide-spread huge fan of this style of metal but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this band and thier clean vocals in both English and in Faroese (thier native language). They switch languages from song to song as well as within a given song. Amazing in concert...I was fortunate to see them in the US on thier last tour. (live below is not in the US)

I'm not sure what genre this is, but they call it both Folk and Medieval Metal"... I've also heard "Jester Metal". They're right now working on a new album and here's a teaser from that. A friend introduced me to them, and they go for something in between clean and growl vocals, Black Magic Fools.

(sorry I don't know how to include a playable video... yet)
