Hey all i know this isn't extremely related to opeth but I was looking to start a band and of course the best place to look for band members that like opeth would be the opeth forums. I was wondering if any of you musicians in san fran or nearby (like 30 mins to an hour away from san fran.) would like to start a band with me. I'm 15 (16 in a month) and I play guitar and have been playing guitar for 2 years. I'm extremely dedicated and want members that are dedicated as well. Why do they have to be into Opeth? Why can't they just be tr00 and into Metal?

Hope you find a band. Just don't try and start an Opeth clone band. Try and accomplish something.

A Korn clone band? If he is Metal, I think it goes without saying it won't be a Korn clone.

You missing my point, if you're going to set out to write music in one band's style, to clone, Opeth is a band worthy of it. 'not' Korn.
