For The Fallen Dream-ish band with better sound than the original? ;)

Thanks JayB, I appreciate that! :)

Ok, the snare reverb is a combination of 4 reverbs.
One is a Z5 sample of one of the Steven Slate snares I used.
Second is a large hall (Lexicon Native Reverb).
Third is a tiled room (Lexicon Native Reverb).
Fourth is an impulse response of the tracking room of westlake studios in altiverb.
Didn't use them on purpose. Just put some reverbs together until it came out that nice! ;D

I didn't use poidaobi impulses. The pack is called sperimental. You can find it here: http://www.guitarampmodeling.com/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=2850

Ok, now I told you all my secrets. :D

By the way, the band is called Like An Oceans Tide.

...just kidding.

But what do you think of this mix and recording I did last week. They kinda sound like For The Fallen Dreams, but unfortunately they have a lame singer that pulls their music quality down. Nevertheless I like how this mix came out. They had some really expensive guitar gear, so what do you think about the tone?

Thanks for all your answers! :)

I'll sing for them ;)

I'll sing for them ;)

Hahaa, this would be great! I can give you a version without vocals if you want! ;) But I would have to ask the band itself before doing this.

Theres nothing special about that bass tone. I split it into highs and lows. The lows went through a Podfarm Bassamp, and the highs through a tube screamer. Then mixed both together and compressed them to hell.
