For you Celtic Frost fans

i think it's very cool that he keeps up with the modern metal scene but some of his picks left a little to be desired

Tom is the fucking man, still. I have a copy of Metal Maniacs from around July(?) this year and the interview with him and Martin Ain is awesome. He's truly an artist and visionary.

Electric Wizard - Dopethrone
Fields of the Nephilim - Mourning Sun
Furze - Necromanzee Cogent
Gorgoroth - Twilight of the idols
Angel Witch -S/t

Havn't heard any of these. Suprised to see they picked some recent albums, and i'm glad they picked some less known ones as opposed to the classics.

1,2 = Great, but not essential
3,4 = Don't know them
5 = Essential, but only for old school metalheads

that's my take on it

edit: interesting that they decided not to go for 'Elizium', which is Field's classic, and instead went with their latest album... (it's still good though).
