Borrowed gear. Their gear request was ignored by the promoter Jack Koshick. Legendary gig though! The response from the audience triggered what would be Opeth's presence in the U.S. today.

Remember, Peaceville had no license or direct involvement in the U.S. market at that point. As such, Opeth had no merch, no label rep, nothing. They just walked around like wide-eyed kids with the dudes from Katatonia in tow.
