Forest of October solo tab!

Haha, how did I know when I saw 'last reply by Static' I would see a reply along the lines of 'damn I wish I was good enough to play it'.

Don't worry man... soon enough you will get good though, I've only been playin an odd year and a half (3/4 or something) and I can get it down fairly well, just takes alot of persistance... and im sure you'll get there, just keep at learning those Opeth songs.

hmm, its not as hard as i thought it'd be. I could get that down with some practice. all the fast runs are simple patterns - all that practice with scales is paying off

but yeah, thanks man, i'll have fun with that

cool stuff!!!!!!! Hey, you think you can tab "THE LEPER AFFINITY" solo? I know darkwood.com has it, but they're not accurate enough.... what do you think??????

Yes, I suppose I repeat myself somewhat...

I think I may give it a shot though! Cheers bro!

hehe well the majority of the transcription credit goes to my late guitar teacher... I just fixed up a few parts, tried to make it more readable and added a key and stuff... so yeah, glad you all like.

btw, yeah it's all just simple minor runs and stuff, especially Peter's part... it really speaks volumes of how Orchid was composed... it's still strikes me as strange that it's still possibly my favourite Opeth album.

what is a .gp3 file? i tried to use powertab to open it, but it won't work......

Ah, you need a program called guitar pro to use it. I'll send you a text file instead since you don't have Guitar pro. Or you could just download GP from Kazaa.

And I'll send the tab to everyone else now.
