Obviously JayKeeley was only on track 2, because this band is impossible to judge on one or two songs. They have such a great variation in their songwriting.

I've been revisiting this album the past couple days, Mausolos in particular is one of the most gorgeous pieces my ears have gorged on in awhile.

Any of you lads have any recommendations in a similar vein? I find none of the aforementioned band comparisons fitting for what is displayed on The Sense Apparatus.

I am not sure if you like Virus, but I think their albums have been when I've been listening to when I get the prog metal vibe. Other than that it's always Fates Warning's 2nd and 3rd album

Sorry bro, didn't dig that At All. VBE is tits, but I'll pass on the band's spawn. Speaking of eclectic music which has no correlation to Frantic Bleep, I need to give De Vette Cuecken a thorough perusal. That track Erik posted way back when was nifty.
