Free amp-sim for Mac?

I tried to Google, but nothing that special came up.

Any suggestions for free amp-simulator for Reaper/Mac? I'll only use it to record DI tracks before reamping, so it doesn't have to sound that great, just to ease playing the stuff.

LePou Mac plugins bryan_kilco linked and cab impulses. Since you are using Reaper, I suggest LAConvolver (AU plugin) - pretty much straightforward.

I'll try that if I can't find anything else. As said, I only need this for listening, nothing is tracked from that, so as simple as possible.

if you use logic there are a bunch of amp sims built in, otherwise lepou's stuff is pretty much it

Logic's amp sims are wank though +1 to LePou's plug-ins, it's all we have on OS X that's free.

That was true until a few weeks ago when Alu ported his VSTs to Mac.
Free tubescreamer and High Gain amp sim for Mac AU.

I just use them for scratch tracks. Real amps are where it's at
