I'd start by determining the service that is provided: "digitally record" could mean audio OR video; "providing the equipment needed" could mean providing an iPad or professional studio equipment (= quality of the "finished product"); "finished product" = what is considered the "finished product"?;
"Recording Dates" could mean 24 hours/day or 12 hours/day (8am - 8 pm, or whatever)
There are a lot of other open questions - just to give you some thoughts
Don't get me wrong - thanks for sharing your "Basic Recording Contract" with us - it's just that I have to deal with stuff like this (sadly not studios/artists) the whole day - so I guess you could call it professional paranoia. You wouldn't believe how fucked up and stupid some people are. A mechanic offered two days of "working on your car" (oldtimer specialist), and the other guy wanted him to work 48 hours. Needless to say the case went to court, took forever and cost a shitload of money. (The mechanic won).
Yes it's an old thread but I was wondering if your offer was still valid
I tried to do it with some translators online as my english is not that good but it gave some weird answers and I wanna be sure to have something correct. So with an other version, I could compare and fix the wrong points.
