Free plugin to get that crackling radio sound?

Or a bad vinyl record being played.. i had one, but totally forgot what it was and cant seem to find one at the moment.

Does anyone know about a free VSTi/plug that can do this?

Izotope Vinyl? Thats what I have used before, works alright, I'm sure I have something else that does a similar job too....

JB Ferox has an 'Old Tape' setting that adds a load of hiss and background noise to your track. :shrug:

Well pretty much on topic, I would just like to suggest that no one ever do this sound ever again if they have the choice - it worked in the beginning of "Dead Heart in a Dead World" (the song), it worked in the beginning of "Bullet Ride," and now it is officially cliche and lame in my book. Just wanted to put that out there!
