Oh man, I'm so hoping that someone shows up (mistakenly...or maybe not :D) as a sex offender or something

seems a bit invasive guys, despite being public record. my own record is clean, not even a traffic violation... but if i did have anything, i wouldn't really appreciate having it drug out for public consumption, least of all by "friends".

hmm maybe your right jay - what say you others? shall i pull it down incase shit gets out of hand?

On the other hand im exercising my constitutional right as a human being for distributing freedom of speech

Hahahaha, I'm flattered Kev :D And you're right, which is surprising, considering I've had so many traffic violations my license was suspended this past summer :goggly: (nothing serious, just a bunch of speeding tickets and one failure to stop completely before making a right on red :mad::mad: )

and the aggravated assault on a minor - dont skip that one!

i suppose there's all sorts of things one could do that would be "within rights", but are they within prudence?

we're talking about people, some of whom, like Slate who was already searched by someone above, that visit this place and add a lot of value... and it's a recording forum, you're not looking into hiring a nanny to live in your home and work with your children after all.

well i'd rather not have a sex offender mixing my album... but thats just me

slate example: well there's no proof thats actually him is there?

i'll rip down the link anyway before something bad actually turns up

If the cops are anything like they are over here, 80% of em' are parked up in lay-bys with speed guns, 10% are kiddy fiddling, 5% are walking around aimlessly in the streets and the remainder are trying to work out how to reduce crime

INK REMOVED by me BECAUSE "James Murphy" FEELS ITS A VIOLATION OF PEOPLES PRIVACY - sorry everyone, fun's over

all you dirty sex offenders got off scott free this time

what gives Mick? i didn't make any demands, i was making suggestions about why it might not be the coolest thing to do, but that ddoesn't rate an ALLCAPS calling out, now does it? i'm apparently also not the only one who feels it's a bit inappropriate, for that matter. and the deal with having my name it quotes like that?

let me ask you this, would you have done this at a party? a family gathering? if you did, how long would it take before someone got pissed-off, do you think?

search away, but why not do it privately?

Neither does rape.

oh yeah.. my bad, you're right... let's weed out all the rapists among us, cuz hey, it's a safe bet to assume we have some, right?. hell, lets go one better and contact the DOHS and weed out anyone whose name turns up on a watch list.... i don't want no fuckin' EQ advice from someone who's name resembles a terrorist's name!

jesus tap-dancin' christ.
