Just discovered an amazing French thrash band called "No Return". Not sure if anyone else is into these guys or not, but I picked up their '02 album "Machinery" and was blown away. They mix elements of the death scene into their sound...much like Dew-Scented and Corporation 187. This is some quality fucking shit ladies and gentleman. OK all you war hawks...I found an excuse to end the French trade embargo!!!

NO RETURN is their name. I give it 5/5 drunken headbangers...

Funny, I 've heard from two others, recently, about this band, good things. They've been around a bit and with your recommendation, I'll order some up tomorrow...

I think you'll be really happy with this band if you like the newer European thrash bands making their mark right now...Hatesphere, Carnal Forge, Darkane, The Haunted, Kings Evil, etc. I can't believe I hadn't heard of these guys until now. I'm now working my way backwards trying to find their older albums. It looks like red wine isn't the only good thing the French are exporting anymore.

I have a hard time with this breed of thrash... Darkane are ok but ...I don't like the vocals on this kind of music!

I'll check em out though!

I love Hatesphere,Carnal Forge,Darkane,and The Haunted.

Never heard of Kings Evil....who are they?

The French export more than just red wine! They export
Johnny Depp and Freedom Fries too.
I dont know how they find the time since all they do all day is
ride around on bicycles wearing those blue and white stripey shirts
saying "Sacre Bleur! :D

I lumpeed Kings Evil in with those other bands because of their sound, not because they are European. They actually aren't. Believe it or not, they are actually a Japanese thrash band that tear shit the fuck up. Their sound is more from the school of Megadeth than the school of Testament though. The band has been together since 1989, but they have only one studio release...and believe me...it's not for lack of talent. Their only album "Deletion Of Humanoise" was released in 2001. I got a free copy back when I worked as a DJ for a college radio station. Good luck finding it though. Your best bet is p2p.

BTW...the band's vocalist/guitarist Wataru Yamada played guitar and toured with Ritual Carnage for their 2002 release "The Birth Of Tragedy"...which is a solid album in its own right.

For French thrash/death you oughta check out Supuration.
Quite amazing band.
Isn't Supuration a Ukrainian death metal band.

EDIT: Oops...I'm thinking of Suppuration. They are an aryan death metal band from the Ukraine. Don't ask me how I know that. It's a long story that has to do with me tying to order the first Superjoint Ritual CD online a couple years ago. It was a mistake! I was framed. LOL.

I've got a special secret p2p...I bet I can grab it. Thanks SO much for
the info. I'm very interested to see how the Japanese can shred. Loudness
and EZO and them never shredded hard enough for me. Ritual Carnage?
Sounds like Royal Carnage in name? 2 different bands though, yeah?

Hard to find? Na. I actually bought King's Evil from Tower Records(rot in hell) a few years ago. Ritual Carnage and every other band you named Steiner are exactly what I listen to! I'll be sure to check No Return, I doubt I'll be disappointed.

I want to buy so many of these albums (int. thrash)but I can't find them.
Rasputin offers to provide me with any cd, but I need a credit card and I don't have one, and I wouldn't risk somebody stealing my #.
