I was really pumped to get a new high quality record player for Christmas. Of course I ordered the white Ghost Ship LP and after getting the record player set up I lovingly took the shrink off and gently placed one of the records on the player and was soaking in the sound. Ran downstairs quick and heard "shhrhrhhhshhhshhshhshheheshshrhhrhrhhhhfheeeeee" and came barreling upstairs to find my young son with his hand on the arm asking how this thing worked. :erk:

Needless to say there is a new click-track to Around The World and Back...

Everyone learned a lot about record players that day! Not sure how many of you purchased the LP, but I really enjoy the experience of listening to Theocracy via a different medium.

OUCH!!!

Back in the 80s, when I was a kid, I badly scratched an ABBA record, and I've pretty much hated vinyl ever since.
Big artwork is nice, but records are just too fragile!
Give me CDs and mp3s any day!
