hmmm... Russell Allen blew me away when I just caught Symphony X. I expected their performance to be good, but it surpassed that. His voice was amazing and he knew how to put on a great show.

Other than that... Mikael Stanne(sp?) from Dark Tranquillity is pretty damn good live.

other than that... can't think of too many that've stood out.
