Hey guys,

Looking to sell my ESP SV, it's in near mint condition, never gigged, kept in it's hard case most of the time I've had it.

I bought it brand new in September last new, (it was ordered from the factory so it was brand brand new when I got it).

Specs are:
- Emg 81/81
- 24 XJ Frets
- Original Floyd Rose
- 1 Volume + 3 Way Toggle
- Black finish with White Pinstripe
- Gold Hardware
- Ebony Fretboard with Abalone inlays
- Alder Body and Maple Neck
- Set up low with D'Addario 10s
- Comes in plush ESP Locking Hard Case

There is one very minor fine ding on the end of the elongated V which bearly got into the lacquer, which I may actually buff out prior to sale.

This guitar has literally only been played a handful of times because I do not have the space to cope with it in my house and am going to university in September where I will not be able to use it, so am selling it for that only reason, I really don't want to part with it but must.

Not sure. No guitar that you enjoy, no matter what the price, is ever a waste of money in my eyes. Waste is something spent without adequate return.

Well, as he said: He's going to university. Not only will he probably be unable to use it, but being in university isn't exactly something profitable in short term means(In the long run however!), the extra cash will probably do him more good than this guitar, which he has barely touched!


He can probably buy a new one, or buy it back, when he's out working in a few years

Not really, they're quite easy to find and to get them in a week at home brand new. But I won't spoil the selling, don't worry.

Is this the same one on eBay (UK) atm? If so, I'd reduce your starting bid price at set a reserve. I've seen quite a few SV's on eBay not being bid on for less then £1000. If that's not your SV then er, good luck with the sale!

Yeah I understand, selling gear is such a bitch.

You may want to include in the description that you can't buy this type of SV anymore, as the black ones now come new with chrome hardware and a larger cutaway.
