Hi Mendel,

your song/mix sounds pretty killer to me! I was comparing it to some At The Gates stuff and I don't think the difference is sooo big (ok, sitting in front of my notebook with 5$ Delta Airlines headphones ).
I wish my recordings sounded like yours!

But I agree with joeymusicguy: there will always be a difference between what guys like us create in their freetime on their PCs and a professional producer in his 250.000$ studio.

Still I'd like to know how you create those drum rolls. Midi-samples?

Yeah ur right, there will always be a difference but there again....you nailed it $250.000 studio...for that difference which Isnt that massive from what ive heard of the guys on this forum. Most of the stuff is basically album quality too my ears! Quality of equipment and PC DAW's/VST's etc have come on so much it seems too me. Really catching up to studios I think.
