Fuck it, I think I'm just getting a Honda

First car I can remember while growing up was a Mazda, my mom's wee '78 (?) something. Back when the were about 1400 lbs. That car ruled, it had this weird mesh steering wheel that got insanely hot during... well any weather really.

Funny how this thread is titled "Fuck it, I think I'm just getting a Honda."

speaking of Honda's, did you look at the lower end Acura's?

Actually no, I didn't. Though I probably should've looked at the TSX. However, I know for a fact I got more hp & AWD, neither of which I could've gotten from Acura until the models got too expensive.

I like the TSX, but to think it has more weight and length than an RSX with the same just-enough engine, meh.

I'd take an RL though, but not for $35k. If I ever spend that much cash on a car, it'll be a BMW.

My truckdude roots are coming out when I see this thing:

Mostly because it's going back to the Land Cruiser roots of being capable, cheap, and designed to get dirty. Not some faggoty road pillow like they've become over the years. I doubt I'll get one, but I still want one.

yeah, that FJ Cruiser looks pretty damn cool ... notice the MINI style contrasting roof :loco:

hahaha wwhaaa? LC is the only truck that has three locking diffs from the factory. yeah, theres land rover but i mean trucks that actually work. lol @ anyone who buys one of these new ones and actually takes it on the trail.

and this thread reminds me of the simpsons episode where gas prices soar and homer gets mad because he has to stop driving "four wheel drive" and go back to "two wheel drive"

lol @ what some of you guys pay for transportation. im speechless.

i'll be wrapping those figures around my head for days to come. $550 a month not including gas? jesus christ allmighty.

I still don't mind my car payments, and I'm coming up on my 23rd monthly in a few days. I fucking love my car, it's so god damn perfect for everything I need.

Goes fast? Check.
Holds all my bass shit? Check.
Is reliable (so far)? Check.
Doesn't attract much attention? Check.

Granted, if it was free, that would rule. But most things in life aren't free. Sometimes you'll find a CD-R of the Strokes or half an MGD, but who wants that shit?
