...Government refused to give the permit. The local promoters here in Santiago were caught unaware and up until 7:15 PM tonight were assured by Ricardo Alvarez that the show would happen. The promoters told Ricardo Alvarez that the police were at the venue and they were forcing everyone out of the building and to stop lying.

Had they not cleared the venue a possible riot would have broken out.
