Right, I might be drunk but, on another forum I´m at, a guy compared Staind to Alice In Chains.
A guy asked for bands that sounds like Staind and this guy suggested AIC?!?
What the fuck???
What´s wrong with kids nowadays?
In my book, comparing Staind and AIC is like comparing Motörhead and fucking Korn!!!

I used to like AIC but when I listen to it know it's plain , downtuned suicidal music, perfect when youre 18 , but doens't stand the test of time!!

I would go with the Stain'd > Alice in Chains recommendation... both have loser frontmen who sing about shit that I can't really be fucking arsed with.

I actually like AIC, to me a song like Rooster can still be played 10 years from now and still move me. I think they're great. Staind? Mmm...I can relate to a lot of the misery lyrics but it gets old, it doesn't seem real anymore. You dad sucked, mine did too. Move on.

Alice In Chans was an okay band. The only songs I ever really got into were "Down in a hole" and "Man in the box".
