"Into Glory Ride" for me is sliiiiiiiiiightly better than "Hail To England", but it's sound is sliiiiiiiiiiiiiiightly worse. Then again i don't know if your mp3s are from the re-releases, were obviously you get a crystal clear sound in all the albums. "Into Glory Ride" for me is the pinnacle of epic metal (along with "Hammerheart" of course) it starts with a simple heavy metal rock n roller ("Warlord") which is great, but after it, you get the band's absolute greatness. Hell, "Into Glory Ride" has the band's best song : "Secret Of Steel" - one of the most beautiful metal songs ever.

Well "Crystal Logic" is ONE of the pinnacles... "Into Glory Ride" is THE pinnacle of the "genre".

I'll believe that when I hear it Not saying it isn't or anything, but it doesn't change that the only Manowar tracks I've heard are off of Hail to England, and they were good, but no "Veils of Negative Existence" or "Necropolis" you know?

I can understand why someone might prefer Manilla Road to Manowar, but if you listen to "Secret Of Steel" or "Dark Avenger" or "Battle Hymn".. you will see that M.R. dont have songs like these either. Anyway their approach on what is epic, is different, so they can't be compared.

Imo they can still be compared. I like one band more than the other. That has little to do with the style each one plays.

A general comparison between them has nothing to do with personal tastes, and that's what i was talking about. Also you say you just heard some songs from "Hail To England" so again you cant compare them based on which band you like more, cause you dont have a good idea about Manowar.

Not sure but I am definitely getting both the re-mastered versions either way.

Right, but you know why this is right? For the most part, people avoid Manowar like the fucken black plague of gay brokeback death.

I'll be perfectly honest, it took for Arch Enemy's cover of "Kill with Power" to make me want to check out Manowar. I'd heard dribs and drabs, and seen some embarassing videos, but for the most part I'm a complete Manowar n00b.
