HAS JUST FUCKING CRASHED.

I'M NOT FUCKING HAPPY.

this is one of those moments where is some steinberg developer were in the room with my, i'd inflict some gbh, and not worry for the consequences.

Psshh, I don't need no autosave, I just hit Ctrl-S after EVERYTHING (scroll, ctrl-s, change windows, ctrl-s, etc. :D)

I have never had Cubase crash to the desktop on me. If I load too many drum samples in Superior and max my ram, it will crash, but the project stays open. It gives me the "a serious error has occured" warning and allows you to save the project under a different name to prevent corruption of the original file. I think each individual's PC has a lot to do with the stability of a DAW.

Legality of the software has a huge influence on it's stability, as well.

if im being completely honest, my cracked nuendo is mindbogglingly stable too
which i find very, very odd
but none the less, i am going legit asap =]

Yeah I don't have very many issues at all. Auto-save works perfectly fine. And every time I open a session and go to close it I save it as "projectname-revX-XX" where X-XX are month/day. Haven't had a problem with any corrupted projects yet. YMMV
