I've never had a problem with corrupt versions or crashes on my legal versions of Cubase - used to have loads when I was running the H20 SX3 stuff a few years back.

I'll take a picture if it satisfies you. I can also get SL3 to crash on demand.

<sigh> maybe it's time for the upgrade.

Never had any crashes in cubase 5 except kontakt with slates samples is always crashing if I tweak it while the song plays

Your fucking shitting me. This is the issue with SL 3 and how I can make it crash on demand:

Open midi window for an edit, take more than 5 notes and move them more than 5-8 spaces.

ALWAYS crashes without fail.

So after all this time, stienberg still hasn't gotten their shit together? Un believable.

Mine don't crash if I do this haha, it crashes if I tweak inside Kontakt, like if I just want to change the kick drum volume. It then makes a big ugly noise until I restart my firepod -_-.

I do this too. We have power issues EVERY SINGLE DAY round here, although now I'm on a laptop, but got the habit from yeaaars of frustrated pc work destroyed by power failures

For that I purchased an UPS (uninterrupted power supply) unit for $100
Gives me at least 40mins till it dies out.
