That magazines shows the decadence of American Music i talk about. One of the best guitar players and musicians their country has ever produced gets more recognition everywhere in the world, the only people that its too fucking dumb to give him any credit its the people who thinks he was about gore and no talent, and rather talk about linkin park. Your country its gone to hell musicwise people, the majority of people cant recognize talent even it it bites them on the ass.

yea well what can i say? people are dumb. I gues maybe cause its smaller and gets around easier. it is defintly more gayer in america. i mean just look at the norweigen and sweedish grammys. you had nominations for borknager, emperor, dimmu, opeth. and look what america has.... linkin park and whatever other bullshit they consider metal.

About quality bands, yes i agree alot of them are really fuckin good but i think its starting to repeat itself with some of these bands (not saying american death metal doesnt but still) there is too many bands on sweedishmetal.net . There is still some good metal that comes out of america like death, deicide, morbid angel, nile, fetus, iced earth, cannibal corpse. lol i think america needs some black metal bands??? there are like no black metal bands from america. i think absu is ???? maybe not, i read somewhere that they were from dallas and then at another site it said they were from like london or some shit. where the hell are they from??

America is also the sole founder of redneck metal, I heard a song where the beginning of the song consisted of a 20 second burp into the microphone.

Actually the difference is .. the good side of American music can't get noticed because the mainstream music is so large here and majority of the good musicians here just give up because there dream was to make good music and make money doing it .. but they made the music and ended up selling there instruments trying to get labels to notice them .....

America is too corrupted to change ...I always hear people say that metal/rock will never die in America .. it's been dead for years .. we are the only ones left . us and the people that think korn and slipknot are true metal. But I do give credit to those bands . especially slipknot ..

Don't even start with the schools man ! ..

I hate our schooling system .. here .
We may not be talking about the same system but mine is pretty fucked at the moment .
The teachers may be going on strike and if they do . that means I fail ! . just because I didn't get to finnish my year and get my marks up .. fuck them

Absu ( or Abba =P ) are american. I think Epoch of Unlight are also america. I have a friend who is fond on american black metal but however he admits its always less melodic and more brutal than european acts, seems like some underground americans have a problem with melodic stuff, look at the bands you mentioned while all of them are great only iced earth and death do something that can be considered melodic, the others are all brutal death metal.

Imho, america needs more adventuring musicians who are not affraid of exploring areas of music like melancholy and melody driven music, there are always exceptions but most of the american underground bands i know are brutal death metal.
