The song is nice, but the mix lacks some clarity IMO. Specially on the lower mids region...

The songwriting seems pretty kick-ass to me. I love the AIC feel. Love the chorus. The vocal line at some places could be a little more expressive. The track could use serious amounts of automation.
The mix in general is pretty okay, but the drums could be punchy, the bass a little thumpy. The guitars seem a little fatiguing.

I think the song and songwriting is awesome! Very catchy and atmospheric. Unfortunately i don't like the mix, the song itself would sound more powerful with a nice fat and warm mix, i think it's lacking some low-end too. Drums are sounding very cardboxy to my ears, the kick sounds as it haves a lot of 4-8 khz boosting in there and it don't really like the sound (sample?) of it. Snare has potential, i think it's boosted a little too high too somewhere in the 4/8 khz range, you can add some fatness by boosting up 200hz, it helps a lot Sometimes i hear bassguitar and sometimes not, compress the living hell out of it. In my opinion you can up it a little and add some low-end. With this kind of music i always end up boosting the kick 60-80hz and bassguitar somewhat 120hz for the low-end, so they are not struggling with each-other.

Finally i think the rhytm guitars are sounding really fatigueing too, it has way too much high's and it's lacking a lot of beef too, sounds a little flat to my ears. I probably would add a little more delay to the vocals too, to make it sound a little more ambient. I really do hope you find this usefull, it's not me being an asshole or whatnot

Yeah, very AIC was my first take on it...

Sounds REALLY good man... seriously... the drums could use some work and a bit of balancing with the instruments and you've got a top-notch mix...

You are definitely going to get a lot of "do this, do that" from this thread, but in the end I wouldn't stray to far from what you have right now... except with the drums... they do sound a tad boxy and there is too much highend on the snare... as for the guitars, I think they are just to loud in the mix (bringing me back to the balancing issue)...

Thank you very much guys, the tips on mixing is very welcome and pretty useful and i like that "do this, do that" thing. The big problema is that i was concerned about how good this song is.... Because the singer put the song into a way that i don't even expected. When it happens i feel like i'm unable to see exactly how the music is. Every single tip will be tested....Thank you very much dudes!!!

This is really awesome!! The singer rox good atmosphere. Got to get some clarity on this mix to really make this song shine. Make his vox the main point and wrap everything else around it...almost too much going on. Let the bass and vox carry the song...everything else is great atmosphere but needs to be cleaned up. Sick song!
