Fun with Metal!

I figure they are all the same article, after all Blabber can use one new comment and make a thousand words from it so surely Ted's only been a dickhead once and Blabber just keep cut and pasting :)

I ignore Ted and Kid Rock articles for obvious reasons but I also do the same for anything with that dickhead from Stained and that Drainman dude. I don't like their music and every headline seems to be the same so I can't imagine they've got anything I really want to read about.

WTF???
I'm sure when I looked at Blabber an hour ago there was a post there about SR releasing a single this week and in the comments people were hanging shit on the band about whether ZP would be sacked by September when the album is released. Now it appears the album post has gone and been replace by Zippy boy actually being sacked!

Are they trying to be Spinal Tap?

I think they are trying to be Spinal Tap! This hilarious. This whole time it's been how happy they are, how great everything is, what a great team they are. And how great everything sounds! Bwhahahaha!!!
This guy does sound more like Sebastian. but that completely besides the point.:popcorn:

I don't doubt Sebbie would be a nightmare to get along with, but it's pretty obvious that getting along with Sebbie isn't the key to being in SR, staying in SR means kissing Scott, Rach and Snake's arse simultaneously without coming up for air!

Shit, you're not wrong about him sound like Sebbie. He doesn't quite have the full range of Sebbie, but even Sebbie doesn't have that range these days. I didn't listen to him before, I just figured someone they chose would be someone I didn't like, but shit that's about the best version of 18 and Life I've heard in a long time. I wonder how SR are going to fuck this one up?

Just watching the guy do Dreams by VH, he's no thrash singer but for cock rock the dude is pretty good, too fucking good for Skid Row!

This has to be a bad joke, there is no way this guy can sing for Skid Row, he's way too good for them.
He's still no thrash singer, although maybe he could be, but the dude can also do a pretty good job of Maiden and Pantera.

Yeah I avoided listening to it when it first got posted last year. And when this got posted yesterday. but I did listen and I was surprised. He does a good mimic of Bach. The best yet by far. you're right about not all the range being there and also about Bach not having it anyway. This is definitely their best and probably last chance without getting Bach back. I'd still rather have Bach because it's not just about mimicry. But we'll see how new songs sound.

I'm still not going to be any more interested in the band than I was before. I'll probably give the album, or more likely the clips they release a listen, but I certainly wont be becoming a fan. I don't think the three main players know how to write a decent song any more, let alone a whole album. It's been 16 years since their last failure from memory.

I was going to suggest that maybe Manowar should no longer be consider the embarrassment of metal, but then I realised that it's a piss take on metal.

Massacration is a fictional American heavy metal band created by Brazilian humorists and musicians Bruno Sutter (as vocalist Detonator), Fausto Fanti (as lead guitarist Blondie Hammett), Marco Antônio Alves (as bassist Metal Avenger), Adriano Silva (as rhythm guitarist Headmaster) and Felipe Torres (as drummer Jimmy the Hammer), all of them part of the comedy troupe Hermes & Renato.
Apparently they've made a number of songs and videos in the vein of Spinal Tap but the lyrics are a mix of broken English and Portuguese so even if you could watch the clips you may not understand them.
