it's not that I don't look forward to new releases, it's just that I'm so far behind and I got so much catching up to do. So many already released cd's that I NEED to get (and not enough money).

yeah, it sucks. I was talking with the guitarist (forget his name) during last Milwaukee Metalfest, and basically, everyone but him moved out of Chicago to various corners of the US. So they can't really write music, rehearse, or do much. So...

A few days for London is fine, sure you will have fun there!
I always have. If you like to get a great view over London sorta and like to see a nice architecture, go to the Alexandra palace, there is a nice park there as well... but I guess you just there to have fun.

I talked to JWW about the new Agalloch a little bit. It is done, so we should see it very soon!!!
Also the music seems like it will be a bit different, he said that Godspeed You Black Emperor was going to be a big influence on this record! This should be EXTREMELY interesting, I can't wait for that one.A lot of you are mentioning Borknagar...Are they already working on a new one?!?!?!?! They are about to go on tour, I can't wait for that!
I havn't heard much about the new Vintersorg, can someone let me know a bit of info?
The new Opeth is my biggest anticipation considering Opeth is my favorite band!!

As for Opeth,
Hell Yeah!They are the only band (with more than 1 album) that have not put out a song I dislike. I wonder how long it'll take before that trend is broken. (I think it's inevitable).

I think with this new experimental album so may not like some of it too much. But it is Opeth so I am looking forward to it VERY much, without ANY skepticism.

Well, the heavy album I have no worries about. But Mikael said the mellow album won't be a bunch of songs like Harvest and Credence. More experimental and psychadelic. And I'm not a big fan of psychadelic... nor experimental. (OK, so I have a bit of a closed mind. I don't care. It's MY music.) I'm similarly worried about Visions from the Spiral Generator. Universums Dunkla Alfabet wasn't something I could really dig yet. Hopefully it'll work better for me in context of the rest of the album. But I'm prepared for this being my least favorite Vintersorg album (which isn't really a bad thing anyway, all things considered).
