I figure I'm not the only one upset that Deicide skipped out on his home city on this tour (Las Vegas). They played a really short set about a year ago at the House of Blues but in the brief time they played they blew away all the opening bands. Little did I know that would be one of the last shows they ever played with their original line up intact.

Sure the vast majority of fans at the show were a bunch of goth emo pussies and House of Blues is a pretty shitty venue (moshing is policed by the bouncers...lame)...but goddamn Deicide slayed despite all. :headbang:

I got to see Cannibal Corpse and Deicide both in the span of about 6 months. Cannibal Corpse played the Huntridge (which soon after went down the shitter) -- that was an amazing show. The Huntridge didn't police a damn thing about the pit. It was chaos, fists flying. Deicide shoulda picked that spot, but it's a little late for that now.

That was a great year for live shows. This year Deicide hit up Anaheim and some other spots in the US, but no Vegas. The local music scene here is getting ridiculously horrible. Metal needs to return in full force. There are alot of metal heads here that show up for the big shows (the Cannibal Corpse show was 4x as packed as the Deicide show)...if you show up they will appear...as long as the venue is a good one.

Anyone else live in a major city that Deicide skipped over and wants to see them stop by?

When Deicide did tour here in Canada i did get a chance to meet Steve and Glen which was awsome. Unfortuntley i have noticed the demand for death metal is going down big time especialy here in Toronto. I mena i play guitar and everyone around town says i play wicked but then when you have acual people in Toronto see what you play its like "oh man here we go again, yet another death metal guitarist" Its alright thuogh....... I STILL KEEP IT FUCKING METAL! Althuogh i do experiment with other things death metal is the force behind it all. I dont know how long Deicide will last but i super hope someday they come around Toronto again.
