there you can download some nifty tool which gives you the translation of a word you click at on your desktop. i like it very much, for i sometimes wonder about the meaning of single words here in this forum. there are many dictionaries available, but you need not download them; they can be accessed directly via internet as well. so check it out

i use atomica. ( www.atomica.com )
You hold alt and click a word and uses the net to find out the word ( finds it 99.99% of the times for me ). I use it to check the spelling of the words that im not shure of but on long messages some of them escape thats why most of my messages are edited.

What happens when you try to click on foreign or fantasy-based or otherwise non-English member and/or band names?

Foreign language is hard to tell. Band names it goes down and brings spelling checks usually leading to mythology stuff or the like. Since the dictionary is web based is constantly getting updated afaik so its pretty damn good. ( For example it just picked the afaik).

Sometimes it sends the word to google.com and i found that it also helps a lot to finding out about the word.
