Probably pretty important to mention that you play in standard tuning dude

I have downtuned guitars too(C-tuned).
Same thing goes there, i dont like how it feels or sounds with a wound G-string, but as ive already said, i think it has allot to do how you play, i dont want a bunch of "schreeeeetch"-noises from sliding up and down the frets when doing my licks.
