but yea its got the motherboard and the power supply already installed. Im sure I could figure the rest out... Other wise expect me to be bothering you about this for the next couple of months lol.

if you have the parts by the time I make it up to PA I could help you put it together.

I just finished up school. You guys still playing Star Craft? I'm trying to figure out if I should pick up a legit copy.

get a legitimate copy. bear pirated his and they ip banned him from blizzard.net.

but yea we still play. We all havent played in 2 days though. gotta start that up again... although last time I sorta left right when we gotta game started. luis was pretty pissed.

Anyway. Bear or whomever can help. look at this tell me what you think.

edit: the build I made had this case in mind http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3071604&sku=ULT40083

CP1-AM2-5600 :: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.80GHz / 2MB Cache / 1000MHz (2000 MT/s) FSB / Windsor / Dual Core / Socket AM2 / Processor with Fan

I dunno how neccesary it is to get a processor with a fan. really my main concern is if I should get a better proccesor and will this shit fit in that tiny case without over heating issues.

BFG GeForce 7950 GT / 512MB GDDR3 / SLI Ready / PCI Express / Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card

to be honest the only reason I picked this card is because it was in the $200 price range. you think its still worth getting even though I wouldnt be using sli? also you think I should just man up, get a bigger case and try to set up a system with sli?

Ultra 2048MB Dual Channel PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB)

not much to say here. ram is ram.

Asus M2A-VM AMD Socket AM2 Ultra Barebone / MicroATX Tower Case with Clearsides and a 400 Watt Power Supply (15 lbs)

I really like this case. plus it has the motherboard and the power supply already installed. My only concern is can I fit all this shit in that tiny little case? So Im asking... Should I get a big fucking case and just build a god computer? Obviously I didnt mention a few things like a cd-r/dvd-r drive, HDD, heatsinks (if needed), etc. Which actually brings up another question... Do the motherboards come with some kind of coolings system or do I have to buy some heat sinks.... and that case comes with a 80mm and a 120 mm fan in the front and back of the case. sorry if this is hard to fucking read lol.

There aren't any real advantages to a smaller case since it limits how much space you have to upgrade further and like you said, it can cause over heating issues. You want to have a good airflow, especially if you plan on using an SLi set up. By the way, nothing at this point requires an SLi set up and is really geared more towards the UBER computer gamer. The memory looks good although I would advise using Crucial.com to find what you need.http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.aspx?imodule=BL2KIT12864AL804

By the way, let's play some Starcraft tonight. I'm saying we meet around 8:30pm.

that is a badass computer build man. only thing is is that I would put a CD-RW/DVD combo drive on your wish list so you can backup all your software and shit on CD.

The Club thing looks intriguing. Anyway, Dave, did you get Starcraft yet and is everyone free tonight? I want to play real bad.
