so i pretty much got boned. After playing l4d for awhile i got the dreaded nvlddmkm errors. oh my fucking god ive dealt with this shit before and I dont remember how I resolved it. So after trying a slew of shit I read online, nothing. So finally I checked the system32/drivers folder and found that there were 5 fucking different nvlddmkm.sys. I was like wtf, not good. So I uninstall my drivers and run driver cleaner pro and I also run orthos to see if maybe its a hardware problem. I wake up today look at my computer and orthos fucked up at 9 hours. It didnt say my hardware failed at any point but orthos just stopped responding after 9 hours. which isnt a good sign. After that I try installing new drivers and the drivers wont install. total bullshit. So now I dont know wtf. this nvlddmkm error could be so many things. the trend is people with nvidia 8 cards, quadcores and vista. So either Im some how gonna get the drivers to install or fucking reformat. reformating would blow ass considering I have 300+ gigs of shit on hdd and not to mention all the fucking tweaks I made to vista. fuck it.

I would also like to add, have fun paying for DLC if any should come out for Left4Dead console faggots. Also, Valve nerds are some of the best and most accomplished modders anywhere so the mods that will come out for the PC are going to be fucking awesome. Jeff, you will convert, as soon as you can buy a decent desktop and get rid of that fucking laptop.

I got the laptop do band shit, not to play games. I'm not getting a desktop, that's just retarded. It would sit at Doty's anyway. I was going to get L4D but since you guys are such assholes I refuse to buy it now. Chuck has it, go play with him. I'm sorry that I'm not "with it" like all of you are. Go fuck yourselves.
 
I use notepad for writing out guitar tabs and lyrics, photoshop for making flyers, acrobat reader for the copyright forms, and obviously I need iTunes, email, and internet access in general. I've used various programs to make promo CDs, and 90% of the shows I've played were booked through MySpace. It also makes it easier for me to use guitar instructional DVDs if I watch them on the computer, because I can immediately create my own ideas out of concepts I learn and type out the tabs so I don't forget what I did. You have no idea how much shit I actually get done on this "shitty laptop".
 
Hey, Jeff - not to but in to the middle of the argument but have you considered using Guitar Pro for your tabs? Remember notation station back in theory class? Well it's like that except it is infinitely easier to use, has more features, and in general is a great, very user friendly program. I got it to learn a couple songs and I realized you can use it to write down tabs. You can even tab out the drum and bass parts and have it play back all the instruments at once, or one at a time. Really great program for people like us who wanna notate music and have moderate computer skills.

Did you guys the know the original creator of metroid (was involved with metrod, return of samus and super metroid) is long dead? He also created the fucking virtual boy? oh man what a dark end.

Virtual Boy

Gunpei Yokoi had become one of Nintendo's most respected members with his developing of the Game Boy alongside his other achievements. However, his success was shadowed by a dark period when he developed the Virtual Boy, a home console which presented games in red and black. While the Virtual Boy did present a level of 3D graphics, the red presented by the machine often irritated many players' eyes, and the machine itself was also fairly uncomfortable to use.

Death

On October 4, 1997, Yokoi was killed in a car accident. He was riding in a car driven by Etsuo Kiso, a businessman from Nintendo. After a minor car accident involving a truck, Kiso and Yokoi pulled over to examine the damage of the two automobiles. While examining, two cars rammed into the broken down car from either side, crushing Yokoi. Yokoi was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead two hours later. Kiso suffered two badly broken bones and severe whiplash.
