Well, if you have any doubts about the GameCube and you enjoy The Legend of Zelda, here is your reason to go get one.

At a press conference this morning, Nintendo of America announced that The Legend of Zelda: the Wind Waker will be sent to US retailers on March 24, 2003. NoA is expected to confirm this date with an official press release soon.
NoA is also set to confirm that US gamers will get what Japanese gamers lined up in droves for: A bonus disc containing GameCube versions of both Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and the unreleased 64DD "second quest" for Ocarina, dubbed "Ocarina of Time Master Quest" here.
The Master Quest features the same story, characters and items as the original, but the puzzles in the dungeons have been remixed. Where once you might have had to shoot a switch to progress, now you might have to light two torches. Where once you go left, you now might have to go right. Of course, it's not always that simple, but that's the gist of it. And, as "Master Quest" implies, the game is harder, with more enemies and tougher puzzles thrown your way.
To get the disc, like in Japan you'll have to pre-order The Wind Waker at a participating store. Some online retailers like EB Games are already offering the disc with pre-orders, but bear in mind Nintendo won't be shipping the bonus disc out until February 16th at the earliest so you won't get it right away!
