I like Gamma Ray a lot Powerplant is my favorite disc. I like Helloween a little more than them though but they are both good. If you like the poeer petal stuff you should check out Lost Horizon they kick ass. The dude on vocals is awesome.

I was actually playing Gamma Ray today. 'Somewhere Out In Space' is a monster fuckin' song!!! Then after that, I put on 'Walls Of Jericho'. It put a hell of a smile on my face!!! It took me back to my high school days (you know, before responsibility, bills and all that shit!)!!!!

There is a new Gamma Ray boxed set out (in the UK anyway). All six albums in a cool box. Just a pity it is £75. I want to buy it but can't afford it

no.. but i am also a big helloween fan... all of the records with andi deris have been spectacular in my opinion. kai had nothing to do with those.

my post is pointless yet again!

kai was replaced with roland grapow, who rocks! roland was recently kicked out of the band though. no word on a replacement yet.

Hi! I love german metal! From "Gamma Ray" i have "Powerplant" and "No World Order", both pretty good. I also like:
Blind Guardian, Running Wild, Squealer, Tankard, Destruction, Sodom, Kreator, Sacred Steel and all the other cool german bands.

From "Blind Guardian" i like "Nightfall In Middle Earth".

"Jag Panzer" is an american band, i love "Thane To The Throne".
