Thanks for the dates and video.
Ill have to watch that a bit later.
Work comp atm :(.

I didnt realise he did so many shows with Opeth.

I really couldnt see Gene as the permanent drummer though.
It'd be a bit weird, Axe just suits too much.

But was anyone at one of the actual gigs?

Thanks for the vid man.

Hey it's not super tight but so what it is very damn good. Gene Hoglan has always been an amazing drummer with Dark Angel and Death. I heard he used to wear ankle weights while drumming. I don't know if that is true.

I was at Jul 22: LA Sports Arena Lot in LA and Gene did a fine job. That's the date they filmed the TGC video FYI (and you'll see Gene in said video). Gene is a good dude, and a great friend of the band. Strapping was great as well... and clutch also.

Im not sure but i think it was because SYL.

On the video I love the ride work Gene does.

'Cause Axe is better.

gonna have to call you, once again, deaf and retarded. have you even listened to any of hoglan's work?

because albums like - time does not heal, individual thought patterns, symbolic, city, demonic, physicist etc etc all prove you wrong. there's a reason why hoglan is one of the most respected drummers in metal.
