General mixing issue :(

Hey there
This is my first post on this forum, so at first: hi guys

I've been doing this recording stuff for a long time now, and I don't think that I have improved a single little bit during the last years. It feels like I got stuck someday and can't break through that wall of bad sound I build up in my head
I tried to get some input from this forum to improve my work but this doesn't seem to work for me, for the learning process is only in one direction. So unfortunately it seems like I have to bother you guys, and ask you for some advice. Perhaps someone experienced the same sound-barricade like me.

I think mixes like this one attached, which is my latest recording, don't have any meat, or wideness. The most annoying problem I have (in my opinion) is some dumb-ass lo-mid freq in the guitars I simply can't get rid of. It seems like my ears neeeeeed to have that terrible freq-band in there -.-
does anyone of you know what I mean?
I would be so thankful for any tiny bit of advice, criticism or help.

Sounds pretty damn good actually. Snare is a bit overpowering. What are you using for the guitars? They sound decent, but could use a little help ( i'm really the last person to be giving advice on guitars though).

Sorry forgot the info on the recording..

guitars are 6505 on a Marshall 1960, and a SM7B in mid-position.... this was my first reamping attempt, for I thought, it would change the base-sound of the guitars when I use a real amp and stop messing around with digital-stuff.

drums are sturgis snare, and sturgis detuned series toms; real overhead-mics, and some random bassdrum sample.

bass is some old ibanez 5string thingie through a tech21 vintage-bass pedal
