I just today heard about some rock opera project of compiled musicians called Genius. I don't think its very new but I heard that Russell Allen and Daniel Gildenlow both have parts in it and was kinda surprised I hadn't heard about it before. Anyone here heard of this and if you have heard it how much do these two singers take part in it?

Well I just remembered that the particular album is called "A Rock Opera" Ep II: In Search of the Little Prince. It came out in 2004 and guessing by it being "ep II" it is the second release of "Genius". But I still don't know why I have never heard of it?

This is the project by Daniele Liverani from the band Empty Tremor. Empty Tremor have 3 releases that are great prog metal. Daniele is already working on the 3rd episode of Genius.

Both episodes of Genius are a pile of crap...all the vocal talent in the world can't save that type of shitty songwriting....and it didn't.

Yeah I found the site and read a little bit about it. It seems to me that the guy is so focused into telling his story and "theories" that he could easily have put too little time and effort into the actual music. Oh well, guess its better for me to NOT want more cd's right now since I am genuinely poor at the moment lol!
