While you guys are off on your tangent of arguing about respect I would like to say that the man was an inspiring person, and I don't mean musically. I don't like the Beatles but you can't deny everything that they have done for music, even though they weren't the most musically creative, or talented, they changed the face of music forever.
Also I say that George Harrison was an inspiring person by the things he said. I was watching an interview with him, and the things he said about finding bliss, and happiness really made me think. Even though what he was saying came from heavy christian and middle eastern influence I believe what he was saying applies to us all, and it is something I won't forget. Just my thought...

Hehehe i like the gholing idea indeed. But i do not like the integrity idea but that is opening a pandora box apparently no one wants to this days...

And on a sidenote 2 of the things i said can be considered love to some people, but the other 2 cannot. I guess i never respected someone i do not love and viceversa so the 2 concepts kinda merge in my mind. My apologies.

And on yet another sidenote i hold Opeth's MUSIC in high or special regard. And i also wish i could be that good but that is jealousy not respect. I know you respect harrison music too but please do not forget to separate both things at all times

saying that you can only be affected by someone's death if you've known them personally is absolutely absurd.

george harrison was offering something through his music. if you chose to reject what he was offering that's all well and good, but please respect the people who've actually been touched by his music and his actions as a human being. most people who have approached his music with an open mind have surely learned something about him as an individual, and thus feel saddened by his death.

That i wish to disrespect everyone and everything and wish to be left alone about it. It was my mistake saying anything about this damn harrison fool but there is no argument in why i should respect i just will not and that is that leave me alone let me hate his dead ass.
