Getting a new distortion pedal

I need it to be able to fit Rage kinda stuff to Pantera. And I don't want it to have an unbelievable amount of string noise, I also want it to have a good sound too.

I have a $100 budget.

Get away from distortion stompboxs. If you want any kind of distortion that sounds good than you need a good amp. What kind of amp are you running?

try a dod death metal distortion. you might have to buy it used but you can probably get it for like $20. the caseing on it is red and black.im not talking about the digitech one though.

Or should I wait for christmas to get this?

Or just get another amp and sell my current one.

I haven't heard that Line 6 amp, but I'm guessing it does basically the same thing as that Berry pedal (minus the wha pedal). Upgrading your amp down the road would be a good idea but for balls out metal distortion I would think that single coil strat is holding you back far more than your amp.
