After over 2 years in the works, Paul Champagne (formerly of the black/thrash band MOG RUITH, from Ottawa, CANADA) has just released his solo album (where he plays everything) under the name GEVAUDAN, titled: "A requiem for the dead, a deity for the living...". I've now heard it 3 times from beginning to end and I'm so impressed! His solo stuff is also of a melodic black thrash vein, but with some really n-ice keys! The overall sound is very proffesional + The digi-packaging turned out really slick!

Congrats to Paul on this one!

The album arrived today-- it's quite a fine piece of work, especially for being a solo effort. I particularly like the shifts-- speed, some orchestral and atmospheric stuff, black vocals, and chunks of speedy solos interspersed.....

Easily a great pick-up.....

Again, great album-- I had this on the IPOD while on vacation for the last 2 weeks and it got quite a few spins-- well worth your hard-earned cash and super fast service from Mr. Champagne.
