would make sense, seeing as it's got all that free space where the Party stage was last year.

I don't know how much Iron Maiden costs when compared to other bands but I would bet "a lot" so they have to either rise the ticket price, lower the standard of bands or sell more tickets. I would bet on the last one.But the organisation already made a statement that Wacken will not get any bigger next year
Yeah there were 72.500 people this year (12.500 more than last year). But the organisation already made a statement that Wacken will not get any bigger next year
yeah, just PM me then. Thanks I'll ask my friend (he's supposed to get tickets but Gloria was closed for holidays so I don't know if he already has them).
Did you take any pictures/videos at Wacken?

It took us 6 hours to travel the last 6 kilometers to Wacken. Before that the road was clear (we came from Rostock and mainly avoided autobahns)
they sold a lot more then that... there were almost 100.000 people this year
a friend of mine lives very close to wacken (like 7 km) he knows how the organisation over there goes.
there is an official number for the amount of people they have to give to the police etc ... has something to do with taxes, but they sell a lot more
it was even in the newspaper that there were between 90.000 and 100.000 people
