Gigantour is gayer than a Elton John/Rob Halford/Freddie Mercury A cappella group...

and Megadeth is so much more technical than In Flames and Children of Bodom? are you sniffing glue?

Fail. Ginger kid just THINKS he is a guitar messiah, so he was inviting bands like DT and Nevermore to "bring a new generation of guitar heroes on stage" (his words). Sadly, quality music doesn't draw that many in the US, so he's playing it safe this time with this sub-par mallcore line-up.

It strongly resembles the last European leg of the "Unholy Alliance". As much as I love Slayer, I'm glad I had to sell my ticket last-minute.

That 2005 line-up of Gigantour was so awesome, I was pissed that Dave didn't take it overseas. But next near... Children Of Boredom, In Trends (why not just hooking up a gameboy to the PA?), Job For A Hooker... damn, just stick it where the sun don't shine. Srsly, I wouldn't go there if it was free and they would offer blowjobs and smack at the entrance.

seeing them live is really what made me a big fan. they are definitely more awesome on the stage than on the stereo (they are still extremely awesome on the stereo).

Still, a duet between Elton John and Rob Halford would be funto watch, especially if they both wore the stage costumes they used for their 80s shows.
Imagine what they wouldsing about...
Bound To Deliver As You Give And I Collect
Squealing In Passion When The Rod Of Steel Injects
Lunge To The Maximum Spread-Eagled To The Wall
You're Well Equipped To Take It All

...probably something like that.

I like this year's line-up, to be honest. InFlames, High on Fire, Bodom and Megadeth seem pretty cool, I have no Idea about Job for a Cowboy. I'm really looking forward to go, since this is the biggest thing we can get in Canada (pretty much).*

*CoB-OT is being raided for a 5th time now, so I thought I'd come see here :).

Marty Friedman era Megadeth, no question. Granted Marty did use that diminished run one or two times to many, but he still has a hell of a lot more versatility than Alexi and Flames.

High On Fire seem pretty cool.*

*CoB-OT is homosexuality personified and I wished to inflict it on everyone else.

Fixed. And no offense, I don't much care who's doing what on other boards, this Gigantour line up sucks in a manner so epic, it might as well be called the Cockring Cycle

High on Fire are pretty awesome. Weird pairing though. I saw them in a bar a few months back barely enough to hold Keira Knightley's tight backside (she was there, and it was a tight fit). They suit that sweaty environment, but Gigantour is a weird one.

It's a pretty cynical line up, seems to be all about money. I'd rather Mustaine just retired and left us all alone. I don't even venerate the good megadeth material all that much, never mind the junk he's throwing out now.

..so you don't like these bands their are other people that do and just because you don't like them mean you can bash them and sure Megadeth's new stuff sucks horribly.. but their still quite a few people that would love to see them and you gotta give them some respect for being one of the bands that really helped to make metal big.

I'm not really a big Job For A Cowboy fan but their decent in my opinion.

I'm usually not a fan of guitar technical stuff but I've always been in love with Children of Bodom's music and i think if some of you listened to more of their songs aka Touch Like an Angel of Death,Redlight in my eyes(both parts),Lake Bodom,Kissing The Shadows. You'd prolly give them some respect.

In Flames is not bad either its ashame they've had to change alot from their old stuff because they were so much better back then.

Now can we all just get along and drink till we throw up our intestines.

rock on
