ie no shitty Cali bdm. Doesn't matter what genre (but don't say Dragonforce because I think they suck). The obvious answers would be Berzerker, Anaal Nathrakh, early Immortal, Mjolnir, Nile, Cryptopsy, Angel Corpse, In Battle, etc. but I've heard those bands. If you're gonna recommend brutal death, it's gotta be good, as I can't get into shit like Severed Savior, Decrepit Birth, Odious Mortem, etc. You can recommend norsecore, if appropriate, but only good norsecore.

Try Internal Suffering. They are Colombian Brutal Death. I'm not sure exactly if this is the kind you dislike, but they are very fast so might as well give them a shot.

Good recs so far. Anyone know of any good norsecore? By that I mean stuff like Antaeus, Mater Tenebra, early In Battle, etc., and NOT stuff like Dark Funeral, Black Funeral, Marduk, etc.
